4 Things You Should Do Before The Arrival Of Your Baby

1. Clean Your House

It’s a good exercise for you, besides you don’t want your baby to arrive into a dirty home. Ask for the help of your husband, sort out your wardrobe, clean the room, kitchen, and the nursery (if you have one). Wash the toys and the baby clothes you bought. If you can’t do all the cleaning by yourself, ask for help.


2. Go Baby Shopping

Not only do you have to do some shopping for your baby but for yourself also. Besides the baby clothes, you need things like baby cot, baby bottles, breast pumps, baby bottle sterilizer, baby toys, bath accessories and things like that. If you’ve had a baby before, you probably only have to shop for toys and baby clothes. You also need to shop for maternity wears for yourself, a postnatal belly wrap maybe, pads and some other things.

3. Pack Your Bags

I know you would have packed your bag(s) but don’t forget to pack some things for yourself too. Your hospital clothes, nursing bras, undergarments and some other things you think you might need at the hospital. You might want a checklist for your hospital bag

4. Make A Baby Info Folder

You need a folder like this, which will contain all your child’s birth information records, the number of the doctors and any other thing you might need in future. Also, store your baby’s vaccination records and schedules in the folder.

Let me also add that the best time to spend quality time with your husband is now. Once your baby arrives, forget couple’s time o! Have a cozy nice time with your boo, take a stroll hand in hand. See a movie, have a candlelit dinner in your home, you can even go to the beach.
